Last night at the East Lothian venue Fiver Friday supplied Irish handler Paul Traynor with his first British success in the Visit RacingTV.com Restricted Maiden Stakes.
Ridden by Ben Curtis, the heavily-backed 2-7 favourite strolled home by 15-lengths.
“She’s been shaking like a win wasn’t too away,” Traynor said. “She was my first runner over here at Ayr in June and it’s an easier trip than going down to the likes of Cork.
“We’ve been very well looked after here and at Ayr and I’d say we will be coming back, maybe with some jumpers later on.”
Sixcor struck for Linda Perratt in the BetVictor Betting After The Off Handicap under Andrew Breslin.
“It’s the first time he’s won away from Ayr but he has run well here before,” said Perratt. “He likes nice ground so keep him on the go as long as it isn’t too soft.”
