ABDUCTION is after more Ayr success in the feature race at the west of Scotland venue on Thursday.
Having appeared just ten-days ago in the Silver Cup, Jim Goldie’s gelding is back over course and distance in the Virgin Bet Handicap.
He has won three times at Ayr in the past, all over seven-furlongs, but he has winning form at six before joining Goldie on the all-weather.
Rivals to Abduction include Master Zoffany and Autumn Festival, recent winners at Chester and Beverley respectively.
The eight-race card, Ayr’s penultimate Flat action of the season, starts with the Virgin Bet Apprentice Handicap.
Sean Kirrane, a Group 1 winning pilot earlier in the season in the Nunthorpe Stakes at York, partners Hale End for Darlington trainer Michael Dods.
