Jim Goldie is after more success with Jordan Electrics at Hamilton Park’s famous Saints & Sinners meeting on Thursday evening.
The card, which started in 1965, helps provide funds for over a hundred smaller charities every year and has raised over £2 million since the Saints & Sinners Club Of Scotland was founded.
Jordan Electrics, who holds the six-furlong track record, faces seven rivals in the Patersons Of Greenoakhill Handicap over five-furlongs.
“He’s had a tremendous season already and these sprinters hold their form pretty well,” Goldie said. “We always like to have runners on this card and it’s all for a very good cause.”
The opposition includes Mutamanni, a raider for Newmarket handler George Boughey who has won his last two starts at Brighton and Leicester and top-weight and course and distance scorer Ganesha.
The evening begins with vastly-experienced Serena Brotherton partnering Lindwall in he Greenversity Saints & Sinners Amateur Jockeys’ Handicap.
In the Hampton By Hilton Hamilton Park Hotel EBF Restricted Maiden Fillies’ Stakes, last year’s winning trainer Richard Fahey is represented by Oisin Orr-ridden Sands Of Dubai.
Purple Gown, trained on the Northumberland coast by former jump jockey Adam Nichol, shoulders a 5lb penalty for her recent course and distance strike in the Ecosave Installations Captain J C Stewart Fillies’ Handicap.
