Dual-champion jockey William Buick makes a rare trip to Hamilton Park for three rides on Tuesday.

Buick, crowned leading pilot for the past two seasons and who was last at the south Lanarkshire venue in June, 2022, rode a treble at the track in May of the same year.

This calendar year, before racing at Windsor on Monday evening, he had already racked up 56 winners and has recorded six victories from 20 rides at Hamilton Park.

Likely market leader Simply Blue is his first ride in the opening racingtv.com EBF Maiden Stakes. Trained by David Loughnane, the £180,000 yearling was only pipped by a nose at Leicester a month ago.

Next up is Andrew Balding-trained Aragon Castle in the £30,000 Aspire Cleaning Company Almada Mile Handicap. The Berkshire-raider, also towards the head of the betting, just failed by a neck in a bunch finish at Goodwood in May.

Course and distance winners Dutch Decoy and Pisanello and among the opposition in the feature race of the afternoon.

Philip Kirby’s Lady Bouquet, another favourite, is Buick’s final ride in the Every Race live On Racing TV Handicap over five-furlongs. The filly is unpenalised for opening her account on turf in an apprentice dash at Beverley last Tuesday.

Meanwhile Jordan Electrics, now with Jim Goldie, bids for a seventh course success in the Aspire Hamilton-Park Handicap.

He shoulders a hefty 10st 7lb, which includes a 4lb penalty for his latest strike on Saints & Sinners night just five days ago.
