Knights Affair bids to make it two wins from two course visits in the £20,000 Musselburgh Gold Cup.

Trained in Yorkshire by David O’Meara and ridden by David Nolan, he faces seven rivals in the Class 4, 2m 2f contest.

Having scored over two miles at the East Lothian venue in early July, he was equally effective back at 1m 6f for an easy victory at Redcar three weeks ago.

Joe Fanning is on board Yorkindness, a mare trained by Charlie Johnston, who was only pipped by a head over course and distance last time.

Bringbackmemories, a winner over hurdles at Musselburgh on New Year’s Day 2023 when trained in Ireland by John McConnell, is ridden by Mohammed Tabti for Dumfriesshire handler Iain Jardine.

Fanning and Johnston also team up with Mon Etoile in The Scots Association Cup, a handicap staged over 1m 4f.

The Midleeeham raider has plenty of placed efforts but has yet to score in eight runs on turf and six on the all-weather.

And there is plenty of course form on offer in the opening Quest Precision Engineering Apprentice Handicap over a mile.

Little Ted, Without Delay, Doomsday, Fanzone and Chinese Spirit all know where the Musselburgh winning post is.
