SHANNON WATTS, who rode the first professional winner of her career at the weekend, is looking forward to more success at Musselburgh on Tuesday.
She is based with Jim Goldie, who trains Ayr Poet and Tanasoq, her latest rides in the 100% Racing TV Profits Back To Racing Apprentice Handicap and Bet At racingtv.com Handicap respectively.
The 24-year-old from Glasgow said: “I had two winners before but they were when I was an amateur so it was nice to win on Sound Of Iona at Doncaster as an apprentice on Saturday night.”
Musselburgh feature race is the Visit racingtv.com Nursery Handicap which sees Explicit bid for another course and distance success.
Trained by Mark and Charlie Johnston, he scrambled home by a neck in a seller at the East Lothian venue in early June before wining a more valuable plating event impressively at York seven days later.
