ROYAL ADVICE bids to continue his red-hot all-weather form on turf at Hamilton Park on Wednesday.
The winner of three of his four spins at Newcastle this year, Keith Dalgleish’s Carluke raider takes on eight rivals in the hamilton-park.co.uk Cadzow Castle Handicap over six-furlongs.
Mike Smith-trained Black Friday, a back-to-back winner at Musselburgh and Ayr last October, is one of the market principals while Ann Duffield’s Lady Nectar has been raised 4lbs for her win at Thirsk 39-days ago.
As crowds returned to racing in Scotland at Musselburgh yesterday, Iain Jardine and Keith Dalgleish were both in double form.
Jardine saddled Andrew Mullen-ridden pair Smart Lass and The Gloaming to victory while Dalgleish was on the mark with God Of Dreams and Euro Implosion, who were both partnered by Joe Fanning.
And there was another Scottish scorer in the shape of Jim Goldie-trained Lord Of The Glen in the Watch On Racing TV Handicap.
Goldie also trained Orientor, the recently-deceased sire of the winner and he said: “The handicapper has given him a chance and everything dropped into place today. We’ll see what we can find next for him but this will have done his confidence the world of good.”
